Your contribution to Encore! is tax deductible, and will be matched two or three-fold: first by the in-kind contributions of volunteer staff at Encore!, second by the host NGO we are assisting, and third by your fellow Encore! Volunteer, assigned to a particular project. If you believe passionately as we do in the ability of local NGOs or similar institutions to effect significant social change, and you believe with equal passion that RPCVs are uniquely qualified to help, then please donate now!

If you are unable to serve as an Encore! volunteer yourself, perhaps you’d be willing to help us cover travel and living expenses for those who can. Your contribution will be fully tax-deductible.

Some of our volunteers will be able to pay their own travel and living expenses -- but many will not. Some of our partners throughout the developing world will be able to provide free housing and other assistance -- but many will not. Every dollar you contribute will make a difference. Dollars contributed for this purpose are placed in a restricted pool.

The average cost to support a single volunteer in the field includes:

• Roundtrip international airfare of approximately $1,200 to $1,800.
• Daily living expenses ranging from $75 to $200, depending on the country and the specific site. (Some organizations hosting Encore! volunteers will be able to reduce the daily living expenses by providing free housing and other assistance.)
