How to request Encore! volunteersDepending on your needs, Encore! can provide you with an individual volunteer or a group of volunteers. In a group project, the volunteers can all have the same type of professional expertise or we can provide a team with varied skills.Our volunteers are available to any charitable, commercial or public sector organization, so long as they share our vision, mission and values. Encore! volunteers will donate their time: The only costs for a requesting organization (or a third-party funder) are their travel and living expenses plus a minimal daily fee to cover Encore!'s administrative costs.
Step one: Submitting your initial request Please fill out the brief request form and submit it to us electronically by clicking on the submission button at the end of the form.Step two: Making sure we fully understand your needs Once we receive your completed form, we will do one or more of the following to make sure we fully understand your needs and answer any questions you might have:
Step three: Confirming our partnership Once we are both satisfied that a partnership is possible, we will send you a “Letter of Engagement” outlining the parameters of the volunteer assignment(s) and our overall partnership. By signing the letter, you will be authorizing us to begin searching for volunteers who have the expertise you need and are available at the time you need them.Step four: Finding the right volunteer(s) We will do our best to find the volunteer(s) you need in a timely fashion, usually within 60 days. |
