We envision a world in which the cross-cultural sensitivity, professional expertise and commitment to service of former Peace Corps volunteers and staff members and professionals with similar overseas experience make a significant, continuing contribution to the developing world and to international tolerance and understanding.

OUR MISSION
We address the major social challenges of our time by deploying the skills, experience and commitment of former Peace Corps volunteers, Peace Corps staff members and professionals with similar overseas experience to meet them.

CORE VALUES
Social Impact: We believe living conditions for most people in the developing world are impermissible and must be changed - we will therefore engage only in projects that have a direct impact on social and economic needs (e.g., poverty, hunger, inadequate housing, contaminated water, remedial education).

Respect: We believe in cross-cultural sensitivity and the celebration of individual differences, and each of our projects will be co-managed by local organizations.

Collaboration: We believe in getting to "yes" and the power of partnerships - we will always seek to collaborate rather than compete with others, so long as they share our vision, mission and values.

Measurement: We believe in the power of evaluation and full disclosure - each of our projects will have specific, measurable goals established jointly with our partners; the success or failure of the project will be determined by independent evaluators; and the results will be freely shared.
